The restaurant was excellent for both dinner and breakfast, we ordered amazing dishes. Extremely comfy bed and pillows, there were an electric kettle, a mini-fridge-bar, and climate control available. It was in an amazing and beautiful location with unbelievable views over street...

Good choice of restaurants to eat close by, like il cappero alle mura that was only 10 minutes' walk away. The hotel was a short walk to Palazzo Rangoni and very close to piazza roma

The family suite we stayed in offered a warm ambiance with rustic Italian charm, although the decor felt a bit understated. The dinner was a standout experience, featuring exquisite local dishes that highlighted the culinary skills of Chef Roberto. The location is also a big plus, being just a short walk from beautiful spots like Palazzo Rangoni and Piazza Roma, which are great for exploring. It was a lovely stay, and I wouldn't hesitate to return for more good meals and picturesque strolls through the town.

Peaceful family-run stopover 15 mins away from autoroute between Milan and Bologna. Characterful room in small picturesque town which is pedestrianised and can be visited in 15 minutes on foot. Excellent tasting menu including local produce from Modena and Parma.

The Locanda is in the middle of a lovely old town, and you feel like being part of the community. The owners (2 young brothers) are charming, and despite their limited English try very hard to understand your needs or wishes. Rooms are big, but the bathroom is very small. Breakfast is very Italian, but you can ask for eggs/cheese/etc. Due to the location I would not recommend the hotel to people sensitive to noise.
This is not a complaint, but a suggestion: Could you please improve the lighting in the rooms (halogen or led spots/lamps) and provide a bigger shower cubicle. Furthermore, the water pressure needs to be increased (installation of pump?).

The large room had a cozy sitting area. Opening the numerous windows revealed amazing views, made mornings a delight. The dinner was really good. Chef Roberto's dishes highlighted local flavors beautifully. Breakfast offered a lovely buffet with fresh and delicious options. One drawback was the parking arrangement, especially with limited spots available. The charming medieval atmosphere of the village was captivating, but improvements in parking management could enhance the experience. Despite the challenges, the warmth of hospitality from Andrea and the staff remained a standout aspect of my stay. I appreciated their efforts to.

The hotel is in a beautiful location in the historic center of Castelvetro which has a amazing view over the surrounding country side. It is quiet and peaceful, our stay at Locanda Del Feudo was a real highlight of our trip. We had a wonderful dinner at the restaurant which is run by the two Rossi brothers. They have done a great job reinventing some of the traditional Emilia-Romagna dishes. The wine selection was fantastic, I recommend the glass of Lacrima di Moro d'Alba!!
The suites are big and confortable but the mattress was somewhat soft and probably need to be replaced.

Just a well-suited match for a weekend breather in Castelvetro di Modena with value for money. The owner set up a tour of the balsamic vinegar tower, a good surprise. Rent a car to explore the nearby attractions more easily.

Staying at this charming place with my wife and two grown kids was nice! We explored the local vineyards and the good festival of Lambrusco Grasparossa, a fantastic experience for the whole family. The breakfast was an absolute highlight, with a wide array of fresh options.
For dads, it would be great to have more family-friendly activities.
